Antivirus Protection

Antivirus Filtering: the system scans for viruses and prevents e-mail from being delivered when a virus is detected.

Our system scans email for virus threats. Upon detection of a virus, all parties (sender and recipients) are notified of the threat. The infected e-mail is NOT delivered.

This does NOT eliminate the need for Antivirus software on your computer. We encourage and promote that users purchase Antivirus software on an annual basis NOT renew the subscription. New software features are not always included when you renew the subscription. New features are only acquired when you purchase a new licensed version.

We use several software packages on our networks but recommend to Windows users to start with Norton Antivirus (http://www.symantec.com) which is produced by Symantec.

Are you a nonprofit organization?

Most software & hardware manufacturers offer discounted pricing for non-profit organizations. Please inquire before purchase.

Please only use legally purchased / licensed software. This helps reduce the cost for everyone but can been seen in God's word (Thou shalt not steal. Exodus 20:15).
